Our Reception Area

Canton Martial Arts has a fully equipped state of the art training dojo. In the reception area we have an equipped store for your training needs, from boxing gloves, mouth shields, Muay Thai shorts, to hoodies and tracksuits.

We have a stocked fridge of energy drinks and water to keep you hydrated during training, as well as energy bars.  We also have comfy couches for parents, friends, relatives or anyone who wishes to visit the academy can sit and relax whilst classes are running. We also have a full-time member of staff available at all times.

Our Dojo

Here at our academy we have a fully equipped state of the art training dojo. We have a fully matted training area so that when practising different techniques such as; takedowns, break falls or submission wrestling it reduces the chance of injury.

We also have a full size competition ring. We incorporated the ring into our academy for all our students to practice in before competing in a ring. We fully support those who wish to take the next step in martial arts to compete, which is why our dojo is fully equipped for their needs.

Our Equipment

We have a vast amount of training equipment on hand for all our students to succeed in martial arts. We have various pads such as focus pads, Muay Thai pads, punch bags, medicine balls, and speed balls. We also have spare head guards, boxing gloves, and MMA gloves available for those wishing to participate in a class during their free trials.

Our Parents Area

At our academy we have a viewing area that overlooks our dojo. In this area parents, Nans, Granddads, Brothers, Sisters, other relatives, friends or anyone else who wishes to watch one of our classes can sit. We encourage parents to stay and watch their children (Mainly those within the Little Samurais Programme). We believe that it is good encouragement for the children to see that their parents take an interest in their development.

What else do we have?

At Canton Martial Arts we have a large toilet that has just undergone refurbishment. The toilet area has specifically been refurbished so that there is enough room for children to fit in with their parents. We also have separate changing rooms for male and females. In these changing rooms there is enough room to get changed and store you belongings. If you feel uncomfortable you are more than welcome to use the toilet facilities to get changed. If you would rather not leave personal belongings in the changing rooms we completely understand that and we are more than happy to store your valuable items such as phones, watches or keys behind the reception area.
